VISTE — Volunteers in Service to the Elderly
Volunteers in Service to the Elderly (VISTE) is a community-based, volunteer-driven nonprofit organization serving at-risk seniors in the greater Lakeland area (Lakeland, Bartow, Mulberry and Fort Meade). With help from 1,000 community volunteers, VISTE provides transportation (primarily to medical appointments), hot meals, supplemental groceries, Thanksgiving meals, personal care boxes, accessibility ramps and more, to enable clients to remain safely and independently in their own homes.
